Image Embed Test

NOTE: When images are imported into the Media Library, WordPress automatically makes a thumbnail, a medium-sized image, and the full-sized image. Below are some sample embeds of the thumbnail and medium-sized image. For most of our posts and pages, we could just insert the medium-sized image and then play with dimensions. But that means we should set the maximum import width to some dimension (300-350px ??) that we think would give us the maximum width needed for most embedded images in a page or post. Remember that the medium-sized images automatically link to the full-sized image, which will open in a lightbox when the smaller image is clicked.

This is a 150 X 150 thumbnail, which you can see crops the image (at the middle) into a square. Below is a gallery created using WordPress’s simple code, which designates the ID numbers of the images in the gallery. The gallery itself doesn’t exist as a searchable entity in WordPress, at least I don’t think:
